1. Scaling Up (The Upgrade Protocol)
Scenario: Moving from 'Business' ($49) to 'Pro' ($99) mid-month.
When you upgrade to a higher tier to unlock more quota or languages, you are not charged the full price of the new plan immediately. The system performs a real-time calculation:
Unused Value:
We calculate the value of the days remaining on your current plan.
New Value:
We calculate the cost of the days remaining on the new plan.
The Charge:
You pay only the difference (Prorated Amount) instantly to activate the new features.
Billing Event:
Immediate:
A small, one-time charge for the prorated difference.
Next Cycle:
Your billing will renew at the full rate of the new plan on your standard renewal date.
2. Scaling Down (The Downgrade Protocol)
Scenario: Moving from 'Pro' ($99) to 'Business' ($49).
If you reduce your infrastructure capacity, you do not lose the money you already paid.
Credit Generation:
The system calculates the unused value of your higher-tier plan for the remainder of the cycle.
Balance Application:
This amount is converted into a Service Credit on your account ledger.
Future Offset:
You will not be billed immediately. This credit will automatically be applied to your next invoice(s) until it is exhausted.
Status Check:
You can view your current Credit Balance at any time under the Abrechnung tab in your dashboard.
