The Baseline Health Check
A 200 code is the "all clear" signal—the page exists, the server is working, and content is being delivered. This is the baseline expectation for all your translated pages. If your French URLs return 404s or 500s instead of 200s, they won't get indexed, killing your international SEO. Regular monitoring (using tools like Screaming Frog or Google Search Console) ensures all language versions return 200 codes.
